First, we talked and saw many international weddings and compared them with Japan. Please answer the following questions in your blog:
Since Japanese weddings are expensive, do you think having a massive wedding like Korea or UAE is a good idea? Eloping? Having it in a foreign location like Hawaii?
No, I do not think a massive wedding is a good idea because I want to celebrate a wedding modestly. I do not want to celebrate a wedding by many people, but I want to do it by parents, relatives and close friends. In addition, I think a massive wedding costs much money. I do not want to spend much money on a wedding. I want to save money and spend it on a newly-married life and a honeymoon. I think a wedding in a foreign country is a good idea and many Japanese women want to have it there. However, it is difficult for us reality because we have to spend much money on it.
What is your ideal wedding? What would you definitely do or wear or go to on that big day? Why is that important?
My ideal wedding is to celebrate a wedding at a small church in Europe with parents, relateves and close friends. I want to wear a wedding dress and take photos against the background of the sea. In addition, I want a famous pastry chef to make a wedding cake. Then, we will have a honeymoon in Europe about for 10 days.
I think it is important for parents to see their daughter in their wedding dress because it might be only once.

Superstitions Homework
We talked about many superstitions in many countries, but do you think it is important to talk about them? Why?
Yes, I do. Because it is one of culture. If we know superstitions in foreign counties, it may be useful when we went abroad. If we do not know them, we might feel ashamed abroad and they might be rude for foreiners. We hardly talk about superstitions, but I think it is very interesting topic except that you believe in them or not believe in them.
Is communication affected by superstitions?
I think so that. When I look over foreign country, I often foods, customs, clothing languages and so on. I hardly look over superstitions. However, in the class, I could know there are many superstitions each countries. It is interesting to share each other's superstitons. In Japan, there are many unique superstitons that foreigners think it is strange. We hardly talk about superstitons, but I think it is very interesting and enjoynable topic.

I believe in some superstitions in Japnan, but I do not believe in most of them. I believe in superstitions about chopsticks. The way of using chopsticks is very important in Japan, so I believe that. My parents tought me that when I was a child. The one of them is that we do not pass something from chopsticks to chopsticks. It is very rude in Japan. Another one is that we do not lick chopsticks when we think what to pick up with chopsticks. I often see the sight, this is rude,too. In addition, we do not point chopsticks at foods when we pick up food. I do not know why we do not do these. However, the way to use chopsticks is important, so I believe in these.

Please explain what you think are the meanings of each of the 4 expressions
1. Time is money.
Time is as important as money, so you must not waste time. I think the reason is that you can not turn back the clock. You can spend the time only once. If you wasted time, you must regret that. Money is important for me, but time is more important than money for me. That is because if I wasted money, I might be able to manage. However, when I wasted time and wanted to turn back the clock, it is impossible. Therefore, time is more important than money for me.
2.A stitch in time saves nine.
You should be careful of everything in advance to fail. When you failed and notice, it will be too late. For example, in the test period, I often cram for the examination In Japanese, it is called "Ichiyazuke". I know I have to study for the examinaton too far in advance, but I can not do that. If I got a bad score test, I regret that I did not study for the examination too far in advance.
3.There's no time like the present.
You should do it now when you found what you want to do. If a chance came, you should get into action without hesitation. If you missed a chance, the chance might come again. If you thought it is a good chance, you have to do that now!!

I think the meaning is that clothing, hairstyle, things,songs and persons have gone out now. They were very popular in those days, but they are not popular in these days. If my friend sang "tarako-tarako", I would say " You are fashionable late!"
